Thank you for shopping at Nomica Living. This policy outlines the terms and processes for shipping and delivering your order. Please review it alongside our Terms of Service and Returns & Refunds Policy.

1. Order Processing & Fulfilment

  • Processing Time: Orders are typically processed and prepared for dispatch within 1-3 business daysThis is not a shipping date.

  • Our Retail Model: We partner with a network of trusted manufacturers and suppliers across Australia to source our furniture collections. To ensure efficiency and reduce handling, many items are shipped directly to you from our partner's warehouse or fulfilment centre, not from a central Nomica location.

  • Order Changes & Cancellations: Once an order is confirmed and processing has begun with our fulfilment partner, it cannot be cancelled or modified (e.g., change of address, item swap). Please contact us immediately if you need to make a change, but we cannot guarantee it will be possible.


2. Shipping Times & Estimates

  • Estimates Only: All delivery timeframes provided on our Site or in communications (e.g., "Metro Areas: 3-10 business days") are estimates only. They commence from the date the carrier picks up the order, not from your order date.

  • Factors Beyond Our Control: Actual delivery times may vary due to: carrier delays, weather events, incorrect shipping addresses, recipient unavailability, supplier processing times, public holidays, or peak seasonal volumes. We are not liable for any loss or damage suffered due to a delivery delay.


3. Shipping Costs & Methods

  • Calculated at Checkout: Shipping costs are calculated in real-time based on your delivery location, order size, weight, and product specifications. The final cost is displayed and charged at checkout.

  • No Price Guarantee: We reserve the right to adjust shipping rates without prior notice. The rate quoted at the time of your order is final for that order.

  • Carrier Selection: We and our fulfilment partners utilise reputable furniture freight carriers. The specific carrier is selected to best suit the product type and your location.


4. Delivery

  • Address Accuracy: You are solely responsible for providing a correct and deliverable shipping address. We are not liable for orders lost, delayed, or delivered to an incorrect address you provided. If a package is returned to sender due to your error, you will be responsible for all associated re-shipping costs.

  • Authority to Leave: For your convenience, our carriers may be instructed to leave the parcel in a safe place if no one is home ("Authority to Leave"). By completing your order, you accept this practice. We are not liable for theft, damage, or weather-related harm to parcels left under Authority to Leave.

  • Inspection Upon Delivery: It is your responsibility to inspect all items for visible damage at the time of delivery. If damage is visible, you must note it on the carrier's delivery docket/photographic proof before accepting the goods and contact us immediately with supporting evidence. Failure to do so may complicate subsequent damage claims.


5. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Shipments

  • Carrier Responsibility: Title and risk for the goods pass to you upon delivery to the provided address. However, loss or damage that occurs during transit is the carrier's responsibility.

  • Our Process: If your tracking shows "Delivered" but you have not received the parcel, first check with neighbours and your local post office. If the parcel is genuinely lost, or if you discover concealed damage (damage not visible until unpacking), contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order details and photos. We will initiate a claim with the carrier on your behalf. Resolution is subject to the carrier's investigation and policies.

  • Our Commitment: We are committed to assisting you through the carrier claims process. Pending the carrier's decision, our remedies may include replacement, refund, or repair, at our sole discretion.


6. International Orders

We currently only ship within Australia.

7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Shipping Policy at any time. The current version will always be posted on our Site.
